A story worth ORO

ORO Caffè was founded in 1987 in the province of Udine, when Stefano Toppano and Chiara De Nipoti took over a small artisanal roastery dedicated to retail sales.
It marked the beginning of a journey built on passion, expertise, and a constant pursuit of quality in the world of coffee.
Stefano focuses on coffee roasting, learning the secrets of the craft from master roaster Alceo. He works with a small 30 kg roasting machine while also overseeing the commercial development of the business.
Chiara manages the administrative area and the selection of raw materials, personally choosing the finest Arabica and Robusta coffee varieties sourced from the main producing regions around the world.
This is how ORO Caffè entered the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, bringing to the market a clear vision of Italian espresso: balanced, harmonious, and distinctive.

Artisanal roasting and consistent quality over time

Today, ORO Caffè is an Italian coffee roastery with over 50 employees and a production capacity of 6,000 kg of roasted coffee per day.
Through careful bean selection, controlled roasting processes, and continuous research, the company has developed unique, well-balanced, high-quality coffee blends over the years.
The ORO Caffè style is defined by the balance between tradition and innovation: an ongoing refinement of blends, origins, and varieties to ensure a consistently recognizable espresso, cup after cup.
Over time, the company has evolved while maintaining a strong family identity: Elisa Toppano, Marketing Manager, and Ketty Toppano, Operations Director, now contribute to the company’s strategic development, bringing a contemporary vision while respecting its roots.

Innovation, sustainability,
and technology

ORO Caffè operates in a production facility of over 2,400 sqm, inaugurated in 2009, equipped with technologically advanced and fully automated roasting systems.
The facility is designed with a strong focus on environmental sustainability, also thanks to a photovoltaic system capable of feeding energy back into the grid.

Coffee supply for Ho.Re.Ca. and international presence

ORO Caffè is now a benchmark in the supply of professional coffee for bars, restaurants, and Ho.Re.Ca. businesses in Italy, offering a complete range of blends, single-origin coffees, accessories, and customized services.
The company operates in over 42 countries worldwide and serves more than 2,000 active clients in Italy.

Its international growth is supported by operational branches in Germany and Canada, as well as a structured sales network.

Alongside distribution, ORO Caffè invests in professional training, with over 200 baristas trained each year and hundreds of hours dedicated to coffee selection and research.
