Matiqueira Azul is the new 100% Arabica single-origin coffee chosen by ORO CAFFÈ to become a selected and fragrant single-origin limited edition coffee.
This surprising coffee is special for at least two reasons: it comes from an excellent and rare quality of Brazilian Arabica, listed as Specialty coffee with a score of 83/100, and it is produced by a Friulian grower who moved to Brazil for years thanks to his passion for coffee.

We have known this coffee thanks to the Friulian entrepreneur VICTOR MORASSI, co-owner of CQT COFFEES, a Brazilian coffee export company, based in Carmo de Minas, Brazil, who works in collaboration with a cooperative made up of thousands of small and medium growers. Over time, this reality has become a point of reference in the specialty coffee world, thanks to the production of excellent Brazilian coffees.
All together they work with commitment to produce high quality coffee, respecting and supporting local communities, with investments aimed at educating farmers, with new processing techniques and modern equipment, in a context of authentic passion for their work.
THE EXCELLENT REGION OF BRAZIL WHERE IT COMES FROM
The Mantiqueira de Minas region is located on the Minas Gerais side of the Serra da Mantiqueira, in the southern part of the state of Minas Gerais. With a centuries-old tradition of producing high quality coffee, Mantiqueira de Minas is now considered one of the most awarded regions in Brazil. In 2011 it was recognized as a Geographical Indication (GI), in the Indication of Origin (PGI) mode for its tradition and worldwide fame of producing specialty coffees with a very different sensorial profile. In addition, in June 2020 this region obtained the prestigious “Nomination of Origin” certification.- the second location in all Brazil to reach it.
These are rare and surprising coffees reflecting the combination of a unique terroir rich in minerals, grown at 1200 meters above sea level with ideal climatic conditions, and local know-how in the constant search for excellence.
